My task was to take three stand-up paddleboards on vacation with the Bacon family and create a promotional video. No problem! These boards are fantastic. After taking care of the setup and filming with my DSLR, I focused on the art direction, which was guided by my model family.

Editing was a breeze thanks to an Adobe Premiere template—there’s no shame in using pre-made production assets. The editing process only took a few hours.

The second version of this project was a bit more involved, as I used an After Effects template. The render times for the effects were long, and the results were well worth the wait. I really enjoyed shooting in the early morning fog. I combined my footage with some stunning drone shots taken by a close friend and some fishing stills provided by the fishing guides.
